Chef De Cuisine

Duties
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
- Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that highlights creativity and seasonal ingredients
- Manage food preparation and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency in a fine dining setting
- Coordinate food production for various service types including à la carte, banquets, catering events, and special functions
- Maintain strict inventory control, monitor stock levels, and oversee procurement to minimize waste and control costs
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and uphold rigorous hygiene standards across the kitchen
- Supervise shift operations, manage scheduling, and oversee training programs for new staff members
- Oversee dietary department requirements to accommodate special dietary needs while maintaining flavor integrity
- Lead efforts in food handling, catering logistics, and restaurant management to deliver seamless service experiences
- Implement innovative culinary techniques and stay current with industry trends to keep menus fresh and exciting
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining experience
- Extensive culinary background with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen staff and overseeing daily operations
- Knowledge of banquet experience, catering logistics, and event food production is highly desirable
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control practices
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations across the food industry
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Experience in menu planning, shift management, and restaurant operations management
- Background in dietary department coordination and catering services preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
